Marketing Manager

Heather Fontenot serves as Marketing Manager for Jackson Construction, where she leads the company's marketing strategy, brand development, community engagement, and client communications.

A lifelong resident of North Louisiana, Heather brings a unique blend of creativity, relationship-building, and strategic communication to the construction industry. Before joining Jackson Construction, she spent more than 13 years in education, serving as an English teacher, department chair, athletic trainer, and coach. She later transitioned into communications and community outreach roles, where she developed expertise in marketing, public relations, social media management, event planning, and community engagement.

Since joining Jackson Construction, Heather has played a key role in elevating the company's brand presence, strengthening client communication, expanding community partnerships, and showcasing the craftsmanship and values that have made Jackson Construction a trusted name in the Ark-La-Tex since 1992.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Louisiana Monroe with a Minor in English and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Louisiana State University Shreveport. In 2025, she was recognized as a Northwest Louisiana Young Professionals 40 Under Forty honoree for her leadership and contributions to the community.

When she's not creating marketing campaigns or telling the stories behind Jackson Construction's projects, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, Jay, and their children, Liam, Demi, and Dru. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she believes some of life's greatest successes aren't measured by accomplishments, but by the memories created with the people you love. Knowing how quickly childhood passes, Heather strives to be fully present and make the most of these precious years with her family.
